IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE ME HAPPY! JUNK, FRIENDS, AND KINDNESS, NOT NECESSARILY IN THAT ORDER, WILL PUT A SMILE IN MY FACE. A BIRD OUTSIDE AT THE WINTER FEEDER, THE LARGE HORNED OWL THAT SITS ON HIS FAVORITE BRANCH WHILE HE SURVEYS HIS TERRAIN AND MY BUMP-OUT WINDOW IN MY BEDROOM THAT IS A PERFECT PLACE TO DISPLAY MY NEST COLLECTION AND FLOWERING PLANTS. IT IS ESPECIALLY COZY IN THE WINTER, WHEN , JUST ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLASS, IT IS WINTRY AND COLD. THESE ARE SOME OF MY JANUARY JOYS. WHAT'S YOURS?

I love your nest collection and the way you have displayed them...very interesting.
I love to hear some rain on the roof in January as we live in an area where there is little rain and cold weather.
How very beautiful! Eternal spring on the windowsill, how I would love that. I must do something like it on the very deep windowsill in our cottage in France. It'll be fun sourcing nests and eggs.
Love the window and the bird eggs. And wouldn't it be wonderful to go to Paris, Love it, Love it!
It's good to be back here checking in with you.
Come see me.

I love your nests with eggs in the bell jar. It's all so serene and peaceful to see.
I love looking out my windows and seeing the little birds sipping water through the ice in the fountain. It's so sweet.
Oh Judy, we're on the same wavelength! I love all of your nests...the whole display is so fabulous!!!
BTW, I'm going thru flea market withdrawal!
Have a great week ~

Judy, your blooms and nests are beautiful. Definitely would put a smile on my face everytime I saw them. That is such a wonderful collection of nests. I hope you know that this post gave me a lot of reasons to smile today. I love how you take pleasure in the simple things too. A good life to me is a life filled with a number of just the little things.
Some of my January joys are getting up early and saying hi to some of my friends and townspeople that congregate at the c-store in the morning for their coffee. Seeing them there every morning gives me a sense of community and security and friendship. Another January joy is driving in the driveway and seeing the horses munching away in their corrals (in spring, summer and fall they are pastured on our other property so I don't see them often).
Thank you Judy for these beautiful pictures.
hugs
Judy- I see why you asked about that nest. Your collection is amazing. And I am loving the blankets. I want to make myself miniature and crawlk in there and pretend I'm somewhere tropical and not freezin my toes off here!
It certainly looks like beautiful springtime inside. You would never know it is frosty and chilly outside. Lots of lovely items displayed so wonderfully. Sending warm wishes your way :) Tammy
