ANOTHER USE FOR PARCHMENT

I HAD FUN MAKING THESE CONES OUT OF OLD PARCHMENT PAPER AND TINY SCRAPS OF OLD JOURNAL PAGES AND SHEET MUSIC. (DID I MENTION THAT I THROW VERY LITTLE AWAY?) I HAVE STACKS OF DIE CUTS THAT I BOUGHT IN GERMANY SEVERAL YEARS AGO THAT I USED AS A FOCAL. THEY LOOK GREAT ON TREES WHEN THE LIGHTS SHINE THRU THE SEMI-TRANSPARENT PAPER.

What a clever idea! And, being German, I really enjoyed seeing the German die cuts on the cones. Reminded me of my childhood.

Judy I'll bet you are so glad that you don't toss anything. It is wonderful how you can create from scraps of things. These cones are simply beautiful. so nostalgic!
I think you are inspiring me to create. I actually did a few things this week. It was fun to get the glue and paper out again.
