THE BIRDS AND THE BEES

TODAY WAS A STAY AT HOME DAY. AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK I TRY TO NOT USE MY CAR AND JUST STAY HOME AND EITHER CATCH UP ON CLEANING AND/OR FINISH PROJECTS. I SPENT MOST OF THE DAY PLAYING WITH MY PRINTER AND PRINTING ON FABRIC. MORE PILLOWS! THE BEE PRINT IS SOMETHING I TORE OUT OF A CATALOG YEARS AGO, AND I HAD THIS WONDERFUL OLD HEMP FABRIC, SOOOOOOOO, THIS IS WHAT EMERGED! THE OTHER PILLOW IS A RESULT OF USING UP WHAT WAS LEFT OF A VINTAGE WOOL BLANKET,AND AN OLD ADVERT AND NEST IMAGE FROM THE GRAPHICS FAIRY.

THIS LITTLE ROUND TABLE HELD MY PHONE AND CC. MACHINE AT THE SHOP. I FINALLY TOOK PITY ON IT, CLEANED IT UP AND DECOUPAGED THIS BIRD PAPER ON IT. NOW IT'S A "SWEET "LITTLE ROUND TABLE.

These creations are so beautiful! I adore those pillow. How in the world do you do that? I've always wanted to try it but never have taken the plunge. Your table turned out so great. By the way thats a good idea about not driving for a whole day. Thank you so much for that gracious comment on my blog. I so appreciate it.
Hugs,
June

Your pillows are so pretty and unique. Love the bee pillow and the table is wonderful.
I should adopt your idea about not driving the car for a whole day a week. That sounds real smart.

Your pillow ideas are just wonderful!! You seem to effortlessly take just simple items, left overs too, and turn them into something pretty AND useful. I am in awe! The bee pillow is just adorable and matches the material so perfectly.

I really like your idea about taking one day to sta at home and not use the car. It has been my way for some years now, mostly due to such high gas prices, that I tried to save money but staying out of the car, and found out that the time at home was wonderful. More cleaning got done, and I found more chances to create. So I have high gas prices to thank you my new much-loved schedule. Have a good weekend, Debby

My these are all so lovely! Graphics Fairy is becoming popular these days. You created some beautiful pieces!
I have to stay home on Wednesdays and Thursdays unless I want to run around like crazy to pick up my son from college. So staying home and not using the car is a very wise choice....and see what creativity surfaces!

Hi! Thanks so much for visiting me, and leaving your lovely comment! It is so nice to meet you and find your beautiful, creative space here. :o) LOVE that table and pillow. Hubby & I try to treat the planet as kindly as we can and have work at home possibilities, which cuts down on car use a lot. We are close in town, so walk into town for errands and shopping during the week. And a day at home is just bliss! :o) HAPPY WEEKEND!

Awesome table- I am sooo into the bird paper. Here I didn;t buy the nest necklace...what was I thinking? I was in a fog on Sunday. Drat. Good looking pillows. I love the green colored one. I would do well to have someone take my keys. I always THINK I will stay at home and get stuff done and end up gone on errands half the day. Maybe I'll schedule stay at home!
