CAN ANYONE OUT THERE IN BLOG LAND TELL ME WHY I CAN NO LONGER VIEW WHO MY FOLLOWERS ARE? THAT SECTION HAS BEEN BLANK FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND I DO NOT KNOW WHY OR HOW TO FIX IT. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED.
That gadget seems to come and go at certain times. Some folks continue to have problems with it, others don't. Maybe if you just go into the gadget as if you are gonna edit and then go back out without actually changing anything.
Congrats on the "new" old house! Good luck with renovations.

If you go to your dashboard, under the 'design' tab, in the "add a gadget" section is there a box that says "followers?
