I AM GOING TO DO A REGULAR POST TOMORROW, WITH A GIVE AWAY, BUT FOR NOW I NEED HELP! ONCE IN A WHILE I GET THESE FUNKY COMMENTS ON A POST THAT ARE ALL JUST BOXES AND SOME OTHER STUPID SYMBOLS. I REALLY DON'T GET IT! IT'S SUCH A SMARMY THING TO DO!
MY PROBLEM IS ...HOW DOES ONE DELETE JUST ONE COMMENT, OR BETTER YET, BLOCK THESE IDIOTS FROM EVER READING ANOTHER POST! I KNOW HOW TO DO A LOT OF THINGS, BUT EASILY CRUISING AROUND THE INTERNET IS NOT ONE OF THEM! IF ANY OF YOU ALL HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Hey sweetie...well, I get crazy comments like this too....I just make sure I'm signed in to my blog and go to the blog post and there's a little trashcan beside their comment click on it and you can delete it forever. To avoid this you can use word verification or even not allow anonymous comments. So sorry you had these! xxoo, Dawn
Looks like Dawn already gave you the scoop about the little trash can. I don't allow anonymous comments but still get one here and there but they are easy enough to throw away so I have not gone back to word verification as this is really a hassle for many- You can also monitor all comments before they are published which I think is better than the word ver.

Oh dear, there is always someone who wants to spoil things isn't there? I have also had a couple of horrible comments, one during the OWOH event too! I managed to delete them. Hope you are not bothered again.

I get them too, Judy, but I just hit the trashcan next to their comment and that deletes them. Or you can enable comment moderation in the settings of your blog. I hope this helps.

Thanks for asking the question Judy. I had to go to permission only comments because I was getting so many spam comments- trying to link to some unrealted crap they sell.
