MONDAY WITH ALICE

MY DAUGHTER TAMMY AND BABY ALICE CAME TO VISIT FOR A FEW DAYS ( ALICE IS A YEAR OLD, CAN I STILL CALL HER A BABY?) IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON WE WENT UP TO THE LODGE'S SWIMMING POOL FOR A DIP TO COOL OFF. ALICE LOVES THE WATER AND WANTED TO STAY IN A WHILE LONGER, BUT SINCE SHE HAS VERY FAIR BABY SKIN, WE DIDN'T THINK THAT WOULD BE SMART.
LATER THAT DAY, ALICE WORE A T-SHIRT THAT I HAD ALTERED FOR HER. SHE HAS JUST STARTED WALKING AND IT WAS GREAT FUN TO WATCH HER TODDLE ABOUT. WE SANG "A PRETTY GIRL".........(THINK BURT PARKS)...... AS SHE SHOWED OFF HER BABY COUTURE.

BEFORE FELTING, THE PUMPKIN COLORED PART OF THIS SWEATER WAS AN ADULT SIZE. IT WAS FUN FOR ME TO CUT IT APART AND MAKE A WARM AND COZY AUTUMN SWEATER FOR MY LITTLE PUMPKIN. I THINK SHE LIKED IT ALSO!

SHE'S NOW READY FOR COOLER DAYS!
